my written pitch

PITCH:

Georgia has always wanted the typical nuclear family, with the big house in the country side with animals, and a big garden for summer parties with her friends, but all of her big dreams have literally just been destroyed, and she wants answers.

Have you ever wanted to say just one last thing to a loved one?

Georgia is obsessed with having one last conversation with her father. This may sound odd, like her father might be about to die,but the thing is, her father is already dead!

Her dad passed away in a motor bike accident when he was visiting South East Asia, leaving her and her younger brother parentless as her mother disappeared shortly after he fathers sudden  death.

When we first meet Georgia she is trying to connect with her dad through a ouija board, she is with her boyfriend Hugh, who is a typical, rebellious, self absorbed teen. Hugh has brought his friend Jac to support Georgia in connecting with her dad although Hugh doesn’t really think anything will come of it. On the other hand, Jac is a likeable, curious teen. Hugh sees it as a game, Jac is sceptical but willing to believe and Georgia is desperate for it to be real…they are all unaware of the things that may pan out in front of them.

Who ever they have managed to connect with is certainly not her father but in her mind it is. The strange supernatural spirt who they have managed to connect with is ready to play them at their own game. This spirit has a problem with the living and these three give him the chance to wreak the havoc he had started to wreak when alive…his journey is far from over.

Some may say that the dead are not a threat, that ghosts aren’t real…these three can 100% vouch that the dead are strong and capable of deadly and terrifying violence.

 Ouija…its just a game, isn't it?
